jessie crowngyrotonic® instructorTo me, moving well means discovering new ways to move—while building trust and confidence in your body's abilities.

I discovered the Gyrotonic Expansion System® during my recovery from several dance-related injuries. It not only accelerated my recovery, it changed my approach to movement—while giving me new insight into the workings of my body.
I love the Gyrotonic system because it's energizing and healing for the body and the mind—in both a subtle and dramatic way. I find that it provides an excellent form of cross-training to keep my body healthy for dance. It constantly feeds my curiosity about movement. My students describe my teaching style as thoughtful, hands-on, and caring.
I want to help my clients achieve a deepened understanding of their own bodies. I approach movement in a way that emphasizes flow, intention, and internal awareness. I like to problem-solve through verbal and physical cues, but also leave space for you to listen to yourself.
I hope for you to leave the studio with a sense of ease, strength, and a desire to learn even more. When I'm not in the studio, I enjoy dancing, playing and listening to music, being outside, reading, baking, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family. |
