I started my own healing journey in 2014 after going to a conference that unexpectedly shook me to my core. I had the next few days off from work, and I remember creating a detailed plan of all the things I was going to do to 'get better.' I realized how out of touch I was with my body, state of mind, and what it truly means to create balance and harmony in my own life.
I'm so thankful to have found Qigong, meditation, and breathwork in the path that followed. And now I get to share them with you! I believe we're incredibly powerful beings and that what we focus on expands. All too often, though, we get swept away in the day-to-day bustle and lose touch with our inner strength. We reflexively turn to auto-pilot to mindlessly move through the day. Finding time to quiet the mind using intentional movement and breath has helped me lower my stress while increasing stamina, concentration levels, memory, and overall resilience. |
The practice of Qigong truly helps me be present. It's also helped alleviate pain in my shoulder and realign my torso from an old injury. I'm honored to be able to share this healing, empowering practice with others.
I'm incredibly passionate about my community and believe that when we're taking care of ourselves, we can better take care of each other. Outside of the studio, I enjoy exploring with my dog, volunteering on projects that help people in my community, working with Ask Womxn of Tucson Film & Arts Collective and creating art. And spicy food!
