FAQs |
what should I wear?
Comfortable clothing that you can move in, free of buckles or material uncomfortable to lie on, classes can be done barefoot or in gripper socks. We carry Pilates socks in our retail section.
what do you recommend if I'm totally new to all this?
If this is your first time doing Pilates or the Gyrotonic® Method, we recommend scheduling a 60-minute private session with one of our instructors who can introduce you to the equipment, familiarize you with the foundational movements, and get a sense of your individual needs.
how do I know which class to sign up for, in terms of level?
All of our instructors specialize in modifying the class to meet your unique needs. Our equipment classes range in size from 3 to 7 students, so you'll get the attention you need, every time. There are only a few classes labeled as advanced, and the rest are open to all levels. Our instructors all offer private sessions where you can work one-on-one; this is a great option when you have additional concerns as to your current ability level.
what's your cancellation policy?
We require 24-hour notice to cancel an appointment or class reservation; otherwise, you may be charged for your slot. If you have an illness that may be contagious, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible, and stay home to take care of yourself.
do you offer packages or discounts?
Nearly all of our classes are paid per-class and the cost is the same whether paid in advance, in bulk, or at time of service.
For Roll Out and Pilates Mat Classes, we do offer a 10-class package for $120 (normally $15 per class when paid for individually).

what type of facilities does your studio offer?
Our welcoming studio offers cubbies and bins for your things, filtered water and cups, restrooms, but no lockers or showers.
which modality is right for me?
Many of our clients participate in one or more of our modalities. All classes are modified to your current ability. We recommend setting up a private session in a new modality to see how you and your body feel with the new exercises. We're also happy to suggest modalities you might find most fitting to your interests and needs, just give us a call or drop us a line HERE.
what forms of payment do you accept?
We take cash, checks and credit cards. Most students will put a card on file, which we then charge each time you attend a class. We also take pre-payment as well, at whatever interval and amount you like, which gives you a credit on your account that we can draw from. It's a great convenience and a very popular way to simplify your experience.
how do I enroll in a class?
Go HERE to see our list of classes and to enroll. You can sign up from that page, or via the WellnessLiving Achieve app, which is available for Apple devices HERE and other devices HERE. Of course, we can also enroll you over the phone, or in person. If you'd like to schedule a private or semi-private, contact us HERE. We're happy to assist you with all your scheduling needs!
is there any paperwork I need to fill out?
Yes. We'll ask you to fill out a New Client Information Form with Health History and Waiver. You can print these forms from our site and fill them out ahead of time, or you can arrive 15 or 20 minutes early to your first appointment and fill them out then.
