Listening deeply to the messages our bodies are giving can heal us. |
I’ve developed a great appreciation for the messages our body gives us. This belief has grown through my personal health experiences, and throughout my 7 years as a massage therapist as I support others in their own journey to wellness.
My students describe my teaching style as dedicated, fun, and knowledgeable. In 2003, I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease that limited my movement and gave me severe weakness and fatigue. In the time I’ve spent working through the medical procedures, medications, and recovery, I’ve learned to listen deeply to my body. Trying to rebuild my strength after this experience led to a lot of injuries. When it was suggested that I try Pilates, I noticed differences right away—not just in rebuilding my strength and reducing my pain, but I also found that I started liking my body and myself so much more. In my free time, I enjoy walking my dog, singing, roller-blading, and talking with friends. CREDENTIALS
