Qi gong is a form of gentle exercise composed of poetic, rhythmic movements that are repeated a number of times, stretching the body, increasing fluid movement (blood, synovial and lymph) and building awareness and enjoyment of how the body moves through space. Inner tranquility is a commonly-reported natural side effect of a regular qi gong practice.

Qi gong incorporates both external and internal movements—or flows—which build inner vitality, making qigong an excellent health and wellness practice.
Mindfulness meditation is an easy, gentle, guided practice that uses the power of non-judgmental awareness to cultivate peace and happiness. It is practiced sitting on a chair or on a folded blanket on the floor, with the group gathered in a circle.

Studies have shown that mindfulness meditation increases immune function and changes the physical structure of your brain so that it is less prone to worry, anxiety, insomnia, depression, obsessive thinking, and more.
This class is for all, regardless of your experience, background, or fitness level.

about rudy avalos

After training in the martial arts for a couple of years, I experienced a near-fatal neck injury. My training had become very aggressive, acting as an outlet for anger from a troubled childhood. This injury humbled me—physically as well as emotionally. I was suffering excruciating pain, and wasn't interested in pursuing surgical or pharmaceutical avenues. Searching for natural pain relief, I discovered the healing powers of Qi Gong and meditation.

I started my own healing journey in 2014 after going to a conference that unexpectedly shook me to my core.

I had the next few days off from work, and I remember creating a detailed plan of all the things I was going to do to 'get better.' I realized how out of touch I was with my body, state of mind, and what it truly means to create balance and harmony in my own life.
